Does Icypeas detect and remove duplicates?

Currently, Icypeas does not detect duplicates in the uploaded files. This is a feature we might add later on. 

Until then, you can use Excel or Google Sheets to de-duplicate your files. We show you how below:

Excel

1. Select the cells you want to de-duplicate.
   (Note: Excel can’t highlight duplicates in the Values area of a PivotTable report.)
2. Click Home > Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > Duplicate Values.

3. In the box next to "values with", pick the formatting you want to apply to the duplicate values, and then click OK.

Google Sheets‍

1. Open the spreadsheet you wish to analyze.

2. Click in an open cell on the same sheet (for example, the next empty column in the sheet).
3. In that empty cell, enter the following and then press Enter.

The formula feature is activated.

4. Select the rows you wish to analyze for duplicates.
5. Press Enter to complete the formula. The duplicate rows are displayed.
